The aim of this application is to allow you to:
keep an accurate track of your mood swings
without forgetting over time
and give an objective character to the record of your personal feelings
It offers the possibility of scoring brownie points particularly in the case of depression:
by being taken more seriously by your doctor or therapist
by giving you a better overall picture of your mood swings
by making it easier to see which factors affect your mood swings
and finally, by regaining control
As a result, you can:
email your data to your therapist if you wish to
make print-outs
use the data in an Excel file or graphics application
or simply display it on the screen
This can provide a basis for discussion with your therapist so that you can be considered more like a partner, obtain information that you would not have been given otherwise, have a well-argued dialogue about the adverse effects of treatment, or collect the information needed to ask for a second opinion from another therapist. This tool can therefore be useful to anyone, whether they are being treated or not, as well as to their doctor or therapist.
Depending on the feedback received from the users of this app, it may be enriched in the future with additional developments and more complete processing of data according to demand.
It has been developed at the initiative of a pharmacist specialising in therapeutic consultations in the hospital and private practice and a doctor experienced in treating depressed patients.
But in addition to this therapeutic context, it is also designed to be a personal development and self-evaluation tool for everyone.
